How it works
- 1 Save the email as an .eml file, for example by dragging it from your mail app to the desktop.
- 2 Drag the file into the box or choose it. Several at once are fine.
- 3 Sender, subject, date and all attachments show up right away.
- 4 Download single attachments or all of them at once.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. With this tool, your file never leaves your device. Even with Google Drive or Dropbox, it comes straight from your cloud to you, without passing through us.
How do I get an email as an .eml file?
In the new Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail and most webmail services, you can drag an email to the desktop or save it as .eml with “Save as”. Older Outlook versions save as .msg, a format the tool can't read yet.
Are there limits on file size or page count?
The main limit is your device, because that is where the work happens. Files up to 100 MB work reliably. With very large files, an older smartphone needs a little patience.
Is the tool free?
Yes. All tools on Gatefrog are free to use, with no sign-up, no installation and no watermark from us.
