How it works

1 Enter the payee and their IBAN, plus amount and reference if you like.
2 Or choose an e-invoice (XRechnung or ZUGFeRD PDF) and the fields fill themselves.
3 The QR code appears as soon as the IBAN and name are correct. Everything stays on your device.
4 Save it as PNG for screens and email, or as SVG for printing on the invoice.

How the tool works

What it does

Create a payment QR code (known in Germany as GiroCode) for your invoice. Whoever pays scans it with their banking app, and payee, IBAN, amount and reference are already filled in.

How it's built

The code follows the European Payments Council standard EPC069-12 (version 002, UTF-8, error correction M) and is created entirely in your browser. The IBAN's check digits are verified first. If you pick an e-invoice, the tool reads payee, IBAN, amount and invoice number right on your device, from the embedded XML file in a ZUGFeRD PDF.

Good to know: The code works for SEPA transfers in euros. Most banking apps in Germany and Austria read it; whether a particular app does depends on the bank. Don't print it too small, so phone cameras can capture it reliably.

No. With this tool your file never leaves your device.

Are there limits on file size or page count?

The main limit is your device, because that is where the work happens. Files up to 100 MB work reliably. With very large files, an older smartphone needs a little patience.
