How it works

1 Drag your invoice into the box or pick it: an XRechnung, a ZUGFeRD file, a plain PDF, a Word file or a bank statement, several at once if you like.
2 The pilot works out on your device what kind of file it is. E-invoices are checked right away with the official KoSIT validator.
3 You see the sender, the amount and the result, and below that what you can do next: pay by GiroCode, save a readable copy, take it into DATEV or Excel.
4 If it's a plain PDF, you turn it into an e-invoice in one click. A bank statement becomes a spreadsheet.

How the tool works

What it does

Drop in an invoice and the pilot tells you what it is and what you can do with it. An e-invoice is validated straight away, with options to pay, view, book and convert below. A plain PDF becomes an e-invoice in one click, a bank statement becomes a spreadsheet.

How it's built

Detection happens in your browser: the pilot reads whether the file is an XRechnung (UBL or CII), a ZUGFeRD PDF with embedded XML, a plain PDF or a bank statement (CAMT, MT940). E-invoices then go to the KoSIT validator, the same one public authorities use. For everything else it hands the file to the right tool, so you don't have to pick it again.

Good to know: With an e-invoice, the structured XML is what counts legally, not the look of the PDF. Several invoices at once are checked one by one, and duplicates are flagged. You only get a GiroCode if the invoice contains a valid IBAN.

Frequently asked questions

What happens to my files?

Detection happens on your device. Only for the official check are e-invoices sent encrypted to our server in Germany, and they are deleted right afterwards. Plain PDFs and bank statements stay with you until you start another tool.

Are there limits on file size or page count?

Yes, so the tool can stay free for everyone: up to 50 invoices and 20 MB at a time. Every checked invoice counts towards the daily allowance. Once it's used up, you can carry on the next day.

Is the tool free?
